Terms of Use for the Analysis Platform

This agreement governs access to our optical measurement services, the documentation of inspection results, and the obligations of all parties involved. Please read the points carefully before submitting measurement orders.

§1 Scope

Applicable Services and Platform Scope

The platform supports the collection, storage, and evaluation of optical measurement data as well as the documentation of material testing. It is intended for research, production, and quality assurance processes. Not included are expert opinions with legally binding effect or certified calibration services, unless expressly agreed in writing.

§2 User Obligations

Correct Data Entry and Sample Preparation

You are responsible for the proper preparation of test objects, the specification of relevant environmental conditions, and the plausibility of the submitted parameters. Incomplete or contradictory information may distort the measurement results. We point out obvious inconsistencies but assume no liability for misinterpretations resulting from them.

§3 Limitation of Liability

Limitation to Direct Damages

Our liability is limited to direct damages that are demonstrably attributable to gross negligence or intent. We assume no responsibility for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss resulting from improper handling of the platform. Measurement results serve as a decision-making aid, not as the sole basis for production-critical approvals.

§4 Data Storage and Access

Retention of Inspection Reports

Inspection reports are stored for 24 months by default, unless a shorter period is required by law. You may request the deletion of your records at any time. Access to stored measurement series is exclusively through authorized accounts. Disclosure to third parties occurs only with your express consent or when legally required.

§5 Changes and Termination

Adjustment of Terms and Termination

We may adjust these terms with 14 days' notice, provided the changes do not apply retroactively. You will be informed by email of significant adjustments. Use of the platform may be terminated by either party with one month's notice to the end of the month. Measurement data already recorded will remain accessible for 30 days after termination.

§6 Contact for Legal Matters
